YES! Add my organization's voice to the call for quality, affordable health care for everyone.
The healthcare4every1 Campaign is the statewide educational and advocacy campaign uniting residents, businesses, and organizations committed to quality, affordable health care for everyone. Coordinated by the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut, the campaign seeks to build public and political support for the achievement of universal health care in Connecticut.
Organizations endorsing the healthcare4every1 Campaign agree to:
1. Endorse the Institute of Medicine’s principles for universal health care:
- UNIVERSAL...covers us all
- CONTINUOUS...stays with us from job to job and in between
- AFFORDABLE...for our families and our businesses
- SUSTAINABLE...for our state's economy
- HIGH QUALITY...supports good health2.
2. Permit the healthcare4every1 Campaign and the Universal Health Care Foundation to publicly list the organization as an endorser of the healthcare4very1 Campaign.
3. Promote education and advocacy about universal health care in Connecticut to organizational members and employees, and to the general public.
Your endorsement will be listed on the healthcare4every1 website and publicized to further promote the healthcare4every1 Campaign.
We request that endorsers of the campaign share the campaign Web site address with their members, put a link on their Web site: http://www.healthcare4every1.org/, and encourage their members to join the Campaign. (The website is collecting stories from people experiencing problems with access to health care in Connecticut as well as providing tools to individuals interested in joining the Campaign.)
A Universal Health Care Foundation staff member would be happy to speak at an upcoming board meeting, committee meeting or conference of your organization. We hope you will join with us to make quality, affordable health care available to everyone in Connecticut!
